Learn to Stay FOCUSED

It is very important that we remain focused especially at the time of high pressure times. I came across very interesting conversation where Guru Gopal Das explained how to stay focused during times of high pressure in above video. Key excerpts from the video are:

We do not have to start getting into the present, when the pressure is high. We need to start practicing being in the present when the pressure is low

You can only learn to be effectively present in NOW, When you learn to be present in the smaller things of life
  1. Being Physically present: Cultivate the habit of physically present in what I am doing now
  2. Being Emotionally present: Learn to live now without getting distracted internally and externally. Mind is like a pendulum
  3. Being Professionally present:
Small little things in our day to day life actually train us to develop the attitude of being present. If we cultivate the attitude of being present in small things, it peculates into every area of life and then it can also be possibly brought in the larger things of life when the pressure is high.
